Microsoft surveyed about 800 business leaders from different countries for a better understanding of the pandemic effects on their digital transformation. As a result of this survey, it was concluded that cyber security could reshape company budgets and staff. More importantly, looking at the 2-year digital transformation process left behind, remote working in the first 2 months of the Covid- 19 Pandemic had an important place in understanding the importance of cyber security.
The most challenging area in the remote working process was providing secure and remote access to resources, applications and data because many businesses dominate a trust model based on limited remote access. As a result of this, the highest cyber security investment during the pandemic process was MFA.
There are several ways that could change the security paradigm in the foreseeable future.
-Security is the foundation of empathy in a remote workforce during the Covid19Pandemic.
- Zero Trust is no longer an option but a business priority.
-Diversified datasets mean better threat intelligence.
-Cyber flexibility is very important for business operations.
- Cloud is a must for security.
As a result, the epidemic accelerates the digital transformation of cybersecurity if it is open.
